Christmas Epistle of Metropolitan Mihailo

CHRISTMAS EPISTLE OF THE ARCHBISHOP OF CETINJE AND METROPOLITAN OF MONTENEGRO MR. MIHAILO

My dear Montenegrins,
Dear citizens and dear friends,

You have come to this holy temple today, so that on God’s day we can pray together and give thanks for God’s mercy and goodness, so that he will not leave us without his blessing and help in the coming year. The Lord Jesus Christ comes to save not man from man, nor people from people, but all people from Satan. The shepherds hastened to Bethlehem to see what had happened there. They came and found Mary and Joseph and the child lying in the manger, and thus found themselves in the company of the holy family. Christ was born in this way, not in Rome, in Caesar’s city to be the master of the world by means of weapons, but among shepherds.

Christ, the best shepherd, came to protect his flock with the shepherds in humble obedience from occultism, magic, witchcraft, fortune-telling, in a word from superstitions.

Whoever kills the innocent has killed himself (example: Genocide in Srebrenica, Dubrovnik, Ovčara, Vukovar…). It is known, my dear Montenegrins, ever since the Holy Gospel is read, day after day, that they cast curses on Herod, and blessings on his innocent victims. Have curses arrived on our domestic traitors and occupiers? Those who did that are still at the gates of hell. When an impure heart talks to an impure heart, then it is war, and when an impure heart talks to a pure heart, it is also war, but only when a pure heart talks to a pure heart, then it is joy, peace, love and harmony. Because only a good heart can do good deeds, because a sick soul loses its mind, and an evil and mischievous heart leads to evil.

A sick soul and an evil heart cannot fulfill any duty, there can be no happiness and progress in a nation if the citizens do not fulfill their duties. There can be no progress in the state of Montenegro until the Montenegrin Pharisees are marked and punished, as they are guilty before the Lord. Christ also put the Pharisees to shame and condemned them forever. There was no sinner more abominable before the Lord than the Pharisees. All four Evangelists recorded them as such: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There can be no progress in the state of Montenegro, where there are domestic traitors and foreign occupiers. The Lord Jesus Christ sows love and justice, preaches peace and mercy. He, Christ, did not judge, but sinners judged him. Sinful people judged the sinless son of God. The Lord could save his Son, but if he was not born, died and resurrected, if there was no injustice, what kind of justice would there be? Christmas would be than an ordinary holiday, the birth of a great man, and Good Friday would not be the day of the Lord’s death, but only of a mortal, as we all are.

Woe to all those today who love Christ with the kisses of Judas. Christ is born, let’s be happy, because the day of hope has dawned for us, to save ourselves from domestic traitors and foreign occupiers with Christ’s birth. Beware, Montenegrins of Serbian Pharisees, who tear at our peace and happiness, at our sanctuaries and property and state, at our Montenegrin Orthodox Church and national pride.

Let the world know that we are Christians and belong to Christ!
Happy Christmas to you in the motherland and to you in the immigration!

Christ is born ! It is truly born!

ARCHBISHOP OF CETINJA AND METROPOLITAN OF MONTENEGRO
MIHAILO
