“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3).

On August 23, 2025, in the home of the Masoničić family in Bar, the Holy Sacrament of Baptism was performed for little Ilija, son of Veljko and Aljanur Masoničić. The godfather at the baptism was the Archiepiscopal Deputy, Protopriest-Stavrophore Ivan Pajović.

The rite of baptism, chrismation and introduction into the community of Christ’s Church was performed by His Beatitude Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro G.G. Mihailo, with the concelebration of priests Ivan Pajović, Stevo Mašanović and Protodeacon Nebojša Aleksić.

The Metropolitan greeted and blessed the newly baptized Ilija and all those gathered, with wishes that they may reach the years that he himself has lived to see, in health, joy and prosperity, and even more than that.
