His Beatitude Metropolitan of Montenegro Mihailo has sent an official letter of congratulations to Pope Leo XIV on the occasion of his election.

In the letter, which is signed and sealed, the Metropolitan expresses sincere wishes for a long and fruitful period of service, highlighting that the cry of pain from a world suffering due to the lack of peace has already been recognized and taken seriously by the Pope at the moment of his election.

The letter concludes with a prayer for Christian unity and for progress in faith, peace, and friendly relations among nations.
